Alright, Brittany, would you like to post first?

Monique Garamond yawned--it was about time to be getting up, but she was feeling really lazy this morning. She usually did on school mornings; she looked out the window just in time to see the sun rising on the horizian.
"What a beautiful morning," She thought as she heard Mereneth's footsteps pitter, and patter delightfully in the other room.
Monique sighed; she might as well get up before her sister did. She walked into Mereneth's room, and crawled on her bed as she mumbled:
"Good morning Mereneth."

Merenth looked over and grinned. "Good morning sleepy head." she giggled and went over to the window sill, leaning against it and looking out across the kingdom. "It's so beautiful when the sun first rises." she mumbled, smiling and sighing in amazment. The golden orange sun glinted across the meadows, the forests, and ocean not too far away as it kept rising. She twirled around and looked at Monique. "Is our other sister awake yet?" she laughed.

Monique rubbed her eyes:
"I don't know--I just woke up myself, dear."
Merineth glided into the room, as she grinned:
"I am awake! Way before you two, I believe."
Monique huffed in protest, but didn't say anything; she knew Merineth was right.
"Sisters." Monique huffed, crossing her arms
Merineth, an Mereneth laughed; Monique was adorable even when she was irritated!

Merenth giggled and twirled away from the window. "Shall we go eat breakfast?" she skipped out of her room and into the large corridoor. The walls and floor made of sleek and shiny marble, while chandeliers of crystal topped with the finest candles hung above them. Here and there a guard stood and bowed to them as they walked passed. 

Monique giggled as she watched the guards bow before them:
"Aren't they beautiful?"
Merineth rolled her eyes:
"Would you stop being so being so obsessive on how handsome men are?"
"Why should I?"
"Because soon we'll have suitors flocking to our door asking for our hands in marriage, and we need to consider things deeper then their looks."
Monique giggled:
"Well, that day's not today. I have to say it's damaging to my ego that people just look at us, think we're pretty, and not purpose."
Merineth laughed:
"Well, the right one will come for each of us. Father has said so."
"What do you bet that Merineth will get married first?" Monique teased as the entered the banquet hall.
Their mother, Rowen, looked up, and was all smiles as she hugged them:
"Good morning my dears! How did you sleep?"

Mereneth smiled and hugged her mother, then danced over to the long table and sat in her usual place. Melons, cereals, other fruits, drinks, eggs, and meats sat on the table for breakfast. The cook came out and smiled, bowed, then stood up straight. "I'm hoping the breakfast suits you my Ladies." Mereneth looked over and grinned. "It usual does Edmund." he beamed and bowed again, then left. Mereneth laughed and watched him go, literally dancing for joy. She loved making people smile and laugh.

Everyone sat down, and began to eat.
Monique commented as she munched on an apple:
"I slept really well this morning, mother. Any chance I can go back to bed?"
Rowen gave her a correcting look:
"No."
Monique quietly snapped her fingers:
"Drat!"
Merineth chuckled as she chewed her eggs. Once again, Monique pushes the envelope.

A young man on horse back rides swiftly away from cold blasts of wind. This wasn't ordinary wind, no, this was magical whirlwinds of the Ice-Witch; sent to freeze anything and anyone in her path.
"RIDE FASTER ALEXANDER!" The man cried to his horse as it leaped over a log that exploded into icicles.

The Ice Witch glared and yelled in frustration. "Stupid boy!" with a flick of her arm, icicles flung towards him, but he dodged again and again. She smirked and made the snow harder. "He is not going to escape me this time!" she muttered to herself. The Ice Witch glared and made a wall of thick, pure ice about twenty feet in front of the boy and his horse. She smirked. Let me see you get out of this one. The wall was long so it covered the whole path the boy was riding on. No way out now...or so she thought.

Merineth suddenly noticed that their father wasn't at the breakfast table.
"Mother," Merineth began: "Where's Father?"
Rowen finished a peach, and explained:
"He said that the Master warned him of the Ice-Witch making trouble again--so he went out to see what was the matter."

Boaz saw the Ice-Witch make a wall of ice in front of the boy and his horse. He smiled as he whispered:
"Ice melt."
Immediately the ice melted, like a giant blowtorch flared against it. The boy and his horse rode safely onward towards Boaz.

The Ice Witch gasped and her eyes widened. "What...how...HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE?!?!" she glared and snapped her hand towards the boy and the horse, making the path pure ice. She smirked. 

"Horse and boy escape," Boaz declared, and they do.
They suddenly vanished; leaving Boaz and the Ice-Witch to battle.

Everyone continued to feast as a bright flash of light sliced through the hall.
All gasped in surprise, as a boy saddled on a white horse appeared out of no where. The horse whinnied in fright, and kicked out its front legs.
The guards attacked the boy and his horse from all sides, but Rowen ordered them off.
"How did you get in here?" Rowen demanded firmly
The boy's icy-blue eyes widened in fright as he stated:
"I-I don't know."

"You might as well give UP, Ice-Witch," Boaz laughed as the witch looked around in startled, and angered amazement: "They're safe, and away from you."

Boaz smiled as he himself vanished, and appeared back into the banquet hall.
Merineth managed to greet him numbly:
"Hello father."
Monique giggled:
"Have you seen our handsome stranger?"
Boaz smiled as he nodded in acknowledgment.
"Yes, I sent him here."
Merineth frowned in surprise:
"Why?"

"The Ice-Witch was chasing us," The boy blurted: "My name is Shoun Galuverior, and this is my horse Alexander."
"How do you do?" greeted the steed.
"I'm a Shadow-Fighter," Shoun continued: "I'm a knight trained to find and kill Shadow Wraiths in my kingdom, and beyond it.
"I was chasing a shadow wraith down here, and I would've caught him if it weren't for the Ice-Witch--then," Shound pointed at Boaz: "He saved me--somehow he sent me here?"
Shoun looked around after he finished; clearly as confused as the rest of them.
"Where is here?" The knight finally asked

Mereneth blinked and just stared blankly at him. "Here," she said simply, "Is the Garamond Palace." she was still really confused.

He looked around; admiring all of the splendor.
"So I see..."
"Clearly," Boaz added: "The Ice-Witch was trying to catch him for a reason. Until we know that reason in better detail; Shoun is going to stay here with us. He'll be much safer in here, then he is out there."
Monique giggled:
"We'll have another nice-looking young man around; how lovely!"
Merineth rolled her eyes, as Boaz chuckled.
Shoun smiled sheepishly:
"Thank you for your kindness--but I couldn't possibly stay here. I don't even know your names."
"Well, now you will," Boaz smiled, bowing to Shoun: "I'm Boaz Garamond."
"I'm Rowen Garamond," Rowen smiled, curtseying
"Merineth Garamond." Merineth added, curtseying. She looked at his horse, and slowly approached it:
"Hello Alexander."
"Hello!" Alexander chimed happily.
"I'll take him to our stables at once."
"But-" Shoun tried to protest...
"Monique," Rowen began: "It's time for your studies; go do them."
"Yes ma'am."
"Merineth," Rowen addressed her: "Do take Alexander to the stables; have him fed, and cleaned."
"Yes Mother."
After much hustling and bustling; the only ones left standing in the banquet hall were Shoun, Mereneth, servants-in-waiting, and a few guards.
"Soooo," Shoun began awkwardly: "What's your name? I didn't catch it."

Mereneth curtised and smiled. "Mereneth Garamond." she stood up straight. "It's a pleasure to meet you. I hope you like it here. If you need anything just make sure and let me know." Edmund, the cook, came out. "Sir Shoun, are you hungry?" he gestured to the table, "There is food and let me know if you need something."

Shoun looked at the table, wishfully. You could tell he was famished, but felt as if he didn't deserve to partake of such a feast.
Slowly, and shyly he approached one of the grand chairs, and a servant brought him a clean china, a new glass, along with a fresh napkin, and clean silverware.
After a few minutes of watching; Mereneth noticed him sitting a few inches taller, and feeling all the more comfortable as he filled his plate with delicious delectables.

Natas clapped sarcastically as he saw the Ice-Witch blow in the whirlwinds of her anger.
"Well DONE, Ice-Witch," He hissed; his fork-tongue flicking in mockery: "Shoun Galuverior got away!"

"I didn't go, because I thought he wasn't worth the effort," Natas responded, ignoring her smart mouth: "I told you that you were wasting your time on him. He's just some idiot who decided to become part of a knighthood that kills shadow-wraiths because a shadow-wraith killed his family."
The Ice-Witch ignored him as Natas continued:
"Besides, Shadow-Wraiths are far too powerful to be killed by humans," Natas shrugged: "Even if he caught that one shadow-wraith, what would it matter? He would've been dead if a CERTAIN WITCH HADN'T INTERFERED!" Natas rolled his eyes as he laughed: "But once again, you thought you were smarter then me, didn't you Ice-Witch?"

Shoun had forgotten his table manners a bit, and started stuffing his face. When he realized that Mereneth was going to eat with him; he slowed down, and properly chewed his food.
"Would you mind telling me about yourself?" Shoun laughed as he drank some juice: "I'd tell you about myself, but I'm eating."
